Erath County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm current custody, arrange a release, post bond, or obtain an official booking record. For those matters, use the responsible government office or official online service listed below.
Official Erath County Contacts
The Sheriff and jail use slightly different official street descriptions for the same public-safety campus. Contact the office that owns the type of record or custody question at issue. The Sheriff’s Office handles the county public-information path, while the jail is the appropriate local contact for an immediate custody question.

The public pages reviewed for this site do not give records-office hours. The jail page lists visitor scheduling from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., but those are visitation scheduling hours, not a promise of records availability.
- For current county custody, begin with the official Tyler PublicAccess roster. If a result is absent or a current-custody answer is needed, contact the jail rather than treating a missing web result as proof that no booking occurred.
- For a booking record or photograph, use the Sheriff’s Open Records Request page or the NextRequest portal. The county sends an estimate when the anticipated cost exceeds $40, requires half as prepayment, and accepts the exact amount by money order or cashier’s check, not cash.
- For an arrest report created by a city officer, contact the arresting city police department. Stephenville or Dublin Police may hold the arrest narrative even when the Erath County Jail holds the booking record.
- For a later case result, hearing, or disposition, use the Erath County court portal. A court entry can clarify a case, but it does not by itself confirm present custody or a live warrant.
- For a person in Texas state custody, use the TDCJ offender search. It is separate from an Erath County booking search and does not stand in for the county roster.
- For federal or immigration custody, use the relevant official federal locator rather than the county jail. A federal or ICE record concerns a different custody system.
